The Faculty of Radiation Oncology will be piloting a Mentoring Program throughout the remainder of 2023 and into 2024, beginning in November and running through to July 2024. The program is intended to support trainees and new consultants as they progress through their training and into junior consultant positions.
This will be a great opportunity for trainees and new Fellows (within five years of Fellowship) to establish a mentor relationship with a member of the Faculty to develop different skills such as leadership and gain further insight into their areas of interest.
For Mentors, volunteering in the program will provide them the opportunity to contribute to the continuing development of the profession and to provide guidance to trainees and new Fellows on managing the transition into junior consultants.
