Government Funded Programs

As well as our work in research, advocacy, and quality and standards, RANZCR undertakes a number of other initiatives that aim to enhance the professions of clinical radiology and radiation oncology in Australia, New Zealand and throughout the world.

These include:

• Department of Health and Aged Care Specialist Training Program (STP):  supporting our trainees to rotate through an expanded range of settings.
• Flexible Approach to Training in Expanded Settings (FATES): an annual Grant Opportunity, funded by Department of Health and Aged Care, for specialist medical colleges over four years from 2021 – 2025.
