Our commitment will ensure that exceptional dialogue influences the decisions that we make and the actions that we take in advancing clinical radiology, interventional radiology, and radiation oncology for the betterment of our communities.

We will:

  • Consciously attract members, identifying who may be willing to add their passion, knowledge, and expertise to college affairs.
  • Define what professional behaviour is and we will call on our members to model this.
  • Commit to calling out situations that are not reflective of our stated values.
  • Promote diverse membership in all our committees, councils, and boards.
  • Request training in unconscious bias, for anyone who holds a leadership position within the College.
  • Undertake to write to employers to congratulate a member who is appointed to any of our committees, acknowledging their commitment in a celebratory way.
  • Consciously attract committee, council and board members and representatives, who reflect our values.
  • Adapt our college terminology to use inclusive language.
  • Audit our position annually and report back to our fellowship and staff.
