We also offer value for your profession by:
Indigenous support contribution: Contributions to this fund will be quarantined and go towards assisting Aboriginal, Torres Strait, and Māori trainees with costs associated with their training, development, and examinations. Funds will be provided on a needs basis, based on the application provided by the trainee wishing to access the fund.
Trainee support contribution: Contributions to this fund will be quarantined and used to offset membership fees paid by all trainees in the year following the contribution. The intention of this fund is to offer fee relief to all trainees equally, by reducing any membership or other generally applicable fee by the amount contributed into the fund.
The College appreciates donations for the purposes of research and education:
The Research and Education Fund supports the scientific advancement of clinical radiology and radiation oncology through the provision of research grants and funding for further education for members.
The JP Trainor Archive Trust enables the College to preserve the history of the clinical radiology and radiation oncology professions for future generations.
Targeting Cancer
The Targeting Cancer campaign aims to raise the profile of radiation oncology amongst consumers and other health care professionals in Australia and New Zealand, thereby increasing awareness of radiation therapy as a treatment option for cancer.
No, trainees are not expected to contribute to the Trainee support funds. These funds are specifically designed to assist trainees with their costs and fees. Contributions to these funds are voluntary and are intended for other members who wish to support our trainee community.
