The Standards of Practice for Interventional Radiology and Interventional Neuroradiology specifies standards that are required to safeguard patient safety and maintain good clinical practice to ensure patients receive optimum care from providers of interventional radiology and interventional neuroradiology services. The document establishes a quality framework for interventional radiologists, interventional neuroradiologists, hospital departments and specialist clinics to support the delivery of high-quality patient care and outcomes.

This document will be appended to the RANZCR Clinical Radiology Standards of Practice, replacing chapter 13, titled Interventional Radiology, of the Clinical Radiology Standards of Practice, version 11.2.
