Thank you for the opportunity to provide feedback on the draft National Australian Cancer Plan. RANZCR is strongly supportive of the vision presented in the Australian Cancer Plan (ACP) and celebrates the focus of equity of healthcare (i.e., the intersectionality of healthcare treatment for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, alongside other diverse groups such as LGBTQIA+, people of CALD backgrounds, those with disabilities, mental illnesses, and people from lower socio-economic areas, or rural and regional locations). However, we have significant concerns with regards to the implementation of the bold strategies outlined in the ACP and the how the infrastructure and resources will be supported to see the vision become a reality.
