Australians are missing out on potentially life-saving Magnetic Resource Imaging (MRI) services due to chronic underfunding by successive Commonwealth governments. MRI is used to detect cancer and other life-threatening conditions.

Speaking ahead of the Senate Community Affairs References Committee’s public hearing into the Availability and Accessibility of Diagnostic Imaging in Brisbane on Wednesday morning, The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR) is calling on the Government to significantly improve access and affordability for patients.
