Ethical Referrals in Clinical Radiology: The relationships between referrers and providers of imaging services continue to grow in complexity. There are potential risks to patients and funders when referrals are influenced by financial or other conflicts of interest. This paper sets out RANZCR position in support of arms-length referral as the most appropriate and ethical relationship between referrer, provider and patient.
