The College has published a statement on Interventional Radiology (IR) and Interventional Neuroradiology (INR) procedures during COVID-19. As we begin to see our health systems impacted by the pandemic, it is crucial that these services in both public and private hospitals are prioritised according to clinical need to preserve allocation of hospital resources and protect patients and staff. 

By restricting IR and INR services to cases of high clinical priority, we aim to reduce unnecessary patients and visitors in the hospital, preserve allocation of hospital resources and help protect patients and staff.
