The College has reached capacity to conduct Specialist Recognition assessments for 2020. Please note that due to an increase in Specialist Recognition assessment applications during this time there is currently a backlog of applicants waiting to be assessed. As per usual assessments will not be conducted over January and will resume in February
Specialist assessment and Area of Need interviews are conducted at the College’s office in Sydney:

The Vocational Education and Advisory Body (VEAB) of the College's New Zealand Branch are required by the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ) to interview and assess eligibility for registration within the Vocational Scope of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology and Radiation Oncology.
Interview bookings will only be confirmed once your completed application and fee have been received by the MCNZ. The College will receive confirmation from the MCNZ and will provide you with the next assessment date available.
Please note that interview dates may be cancelled if there is not sufficient demand and we strongly advise you to contact the New Zealand Branch office to confirm.

Interviews for radiation oncology assessment are driven by demand. Please contact the New Zealand Branch office to find out when the next assessments will be held.
Please note interviews for radiation oncology may be held in Auckland.
